Isabelle Clotten - Set, Props & Textile Designer

 

Isabelle Clotten is a multidisciplinary designer based in Paris, specializing in set, props, and textile design. She excels at creating captivating environments, unique props, and custom-made textile pieces.

Her journey into design began with studies in Fashion Design at both AMD in Germany and CSM in England. After graduating, she moved to Paris in 2020, where she refined her artistic and technical skills through internships with renowned Haute Couture houses such as Aganovich, Maison Margiela, and Schiaparelli.

​

In 2022, Isabelle transitioned to set design, where she discovered a passion for creating immersive, visually compelling spaces. Since then, she has collaborated with top photographers, set designers, and producers in the fashion, film, and commercial industries. Isabelle continually grows in her craft, working alongside seasoned professionals like Alice Kirkpatrick (Streeters), Camille Lebourges (Mirror Mirror), Clément Pelisson (Solange Talents), and Jack Flanagan (Streeters).

A significant milestone in Isabelle’s career came in June 2023, when she opened her atelier for set and textile design in the south of Paris. This creative hub allows her to design and craft bespoke sets, props, and textiles that bring both her artistic visions and those of her collaborators to life. She maintains a strong network of reliable suppliers and craftspeople across Europe, and her atelier is well-equipped with the tools and resources required for the diverse projects she undertakes.

Isabelle is known for her ability to manage complex projects from concept to completion, blending an artistic eye with strong problem-solving skills. Her work spans editorial shoots, commercial campaigns, and film productions, all executed with creativity, professionalism, and precision. Drawing from her haute couture background, Isabelle brings a refined sensibility and rigorous craftsmanship to each project. She thrives in fast-paced environments and consistently delivers top-quality results, even under pressure. Over the years, she has developed a keen ability to source unique materials and props, ensuring that each project’s aesthetic is fully realized.
